The girls saw the Dentist for the first time today. It was just a "Healthy Checkup" Good news the girls teeth look great. Each are just waiting for their last set of molars to come in.
Lola: She did great and only cried a bit during the fluoride treatment. The doc did recommend that Lola ditch the Binky because it might be contributing to a slight overbite. These day she only uses it when she sleeps, so let's hope that habit wont be hard to break. She also commented on how strait and even Lola teeth looked, positive signs for a future free from Braces.
Ellie: Ellie did great too and only cried a bit when the fluoride was brushed on her teeth. The doc said that Ellie's teeth look great but she too has a bit of an overbite (not due to the use of a Binky because she has never used one) it must be hereditary because mom had a little overbite too. The doc also said that Ellie's mouth is smaller and her bottom baby teeth are a bit tight which might lead to a future of braces to correct crooked permanent teeth.

The pediatric dentist was so great, she too has twin daughters. The girl's left with prize bags and light-up tooth brushes. Overall this dentist appoint was a positive experience. I expected a huge scene but it was extremely opposite. Ellie sat on Daddy's lap as I took Lola into the office and when it was her turn Ellie came with me and Lola played in the waiting room with daddy.
I think they actually enjoyed the visit?
