Eating out in Florence 2

Our first night in Florence was at the lovely Pitti Gola e Cantina, which was a wine bar primarily, but also served some exquisite dishes to compliment the wines on offer. I must have had the best ragu sauce I have ever tasted here. Pictured above are the gnudi, which Mrs K/C/KC and I both sampled (similar to large gnocchi).

Pictured below is the bar at Cantinetta dei Verrazzano, which became our favourite place to relax with a glass of wine and a foccacia or pastry to nibble.
