After dinner MeiYan's friend from school came over and all four girls went outside to play. We checked on them after a few minutes and discovered them happily playing with sidewalk chalk. Only they weren't drawing.
Chalk Dust
We went to our new friend MeiYan's house for dinner tonight. Her mom had fixed all sorts of dishes and they were all delicious. As the girls enthusiastically slurped up tea, scrambled eggs with potatoes, green beans with garlic, and steamed soy milk MeiYan's mom grinned and said, "I can tell they are Chinese girls! They love Chinese food!"

It seems that hand clapping games are much more fun when your hands are covered in chalk dust! The girls were giggly and happy, if rather filthy. Fun!
