i just love pretty things.

however, i'm not a big spender when it comes to decorations, probably due to the fact that i'm too cheap.  that's right...it said it...c.h.e.a.p.  i would rather shop flea markets and thrift stores than anywhere else.  i love scoring a deal and never pay full price for anything.  i've got issues!

my little white cart is adorned with bits of red for the Christmas season.

everything on the cart, except for the little bowls and food items are thrifted.

since, it don't have that much kitchen space, i use this cart in very practical ways.  it holds all my dish towels, placemats, cloth napkins, extra bowls and jars.  the top shelf is holding a few Christmas items...our advent tree and a tray full of hot cocoa fixings.

it's fun to decorate with food, because it is a cheap way to add some pretty into your kitchen or dining room.   our hot cocoa tray actually stays out all winter long and looks good for Valentine's Day too.
