OT fun in the classroom

We are so fortunate to have Mrs. Brooke, an OT to come and work with our children in the classroom. She comes to help our children with their fine motor skills. Some skills that she works on with the children are cutting, holding a pencil in a tripod grip, sensory (shaving cream, sand, etc) and writing their names. Don't be shocked to hear your child say "Mrs. Brooke is so cool!" The children absolutely love her.

Working on their cutting skills.

Mrs. Brooke is there to give guidance and assistance as needed to all the children.

Learning to hold the scissors correctly is a big part of learning how to cut.

Small group setting is the best way to learn how to cut with scissors.

Cutting on a straight line is easy, can we cut a curve line please?
