Shopping!

My friend Anida and I try to meet for a shopping date every year on our Thanksgiving break. Anida is a teacher too, we went to high school together, and San Diego State together. She lives in thousand oaks now, so we meet half way at South Coast Plaza. It is always a fun day. This time it was a bit more hectic... as you can image. Our pack has grown by three. We were definitely proud of ourselves at the end of the day, bringing two infants and a toddler to the mall on a Saturday after an hour and a half drive for each of us is an accomplishment, and all three of them did great. (With a little mishap at lunch) We thought it would be so fun to go to lunch at the Rain Forest Cafe' with all the fish tanks and animals. The place is very loud which was good for us, we didn't have to worry about the kiddos making too much noise. But the noise and fake storms ended up scaring the kids...lesson learned.
Ellie, Lola, and Kaiden
It was starting to look a lot like Christmas, and it was great.
Kaiden loved the lights and the girls just loved shopping.
So this was the girls first attempt at eating in highchairs at a restaurant. I know that sounds crazy, they are nine months and have never been in a restaurant highchair, but I'm sure you can imagine what a task it must be. I will have to say the girls did great!
