such a SWEET birthday!

( note: Lola is not dressed like Rudolph she fell and scrapped her nose the day before the party-yes mom put make up on her to try and cover it)
Yesterday was Lola and Ellie's first birthday Party!
What a fun day, we chose to do a "Sweet Shoppe" theme, it was a hit, the girls had a blast and I think all the guests had fun too. Thanks to all of those who helped us celebrate this extraordinary milestone in both the girl's lives and the lives of their parents. Tony and I had received the same advice many times from other parents with twins: "if you survive the first year, you can handle the rest" Well we made it through the first year alive and well and happier than we ever thought we could be, so here's to many more years of joy!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY LOLA and ELLIE!!
Cake and Cupcakes galore!

Candy Table... filled with more sweets than anyone could ever eat!

I made these balls of candy to hang all around to make the candy shoppe come alive.

So many friends, Lola and Ellie are so lucky!

Aiden, Ella, Henry, Declan, Ellie, and Lola

We had a place for all the kids to play... too much fun!

CAKE TIME
the pictures can speak for themselves.

All the guests gathered around to see the cake mashing!
PRESENT TIME!!!
(it was crazy, but the girls were so stimulated by the attention they made it through)

They were soooo spoiled!
Lola and Emma, all smiles!

What a day! The girls were troopers, but now they just wanted their mom and some cuddles.
