Miss Sunshine

Rachel has been less than cooperative lately when she sees me with a camera.  She just isn't in to posing.  So this morning I tried to just take pictures of her playing.  I didn't get anything interesting.  I thought about how expressive Rae's face is and how funny her "mad" and "sad" looks can be.  She often runs through various expressions as a sort of comedy routine, so I thought I'd try to get her to do that for me.  "Hey, Rachel, can you show me a happy face?"

"Okay, that's a bit cheesy, but it is happy.  Can you show me your mad face?"
[Even sillier happy face.]
"How about your sad, sad face?"  I poke my bottom lip out into a pout. 
"Can't," Rae says, "I just happy."

And that she is!
