Parade

This is Homecoming weekend for our local college.  Rachel's daycare had a float in the parade, so Rae got to be in the parade.  She was all excited until she realized that Katherine and I were not climbing on the truck with her.  She didn't cry, but she was pretty apprehensive.

We hurried on downtown in time to see the float come by.

But when Rachel spotted us, she at least waved.

I think she was glad the whole event was over.  Later, we went to Granny and Poppy's and Rachel skipped off to swing.  This girls LOVES to swing!  She can pump herself and she goes high.  After 45 minutes of swinging, she was a happy girl again.
