Man in RED!

Yep, You're right we went to see SANTA!
The girls have been prepping for this visit for the past few weeks. First Ellie and Lola stated that they were not going to sit on his lap, but they would stand up next to him and tell him what they wanted for Christmas. As the Christmas season has progressed they have become more comfortable with the idea of Santa (Haddie, our Christmas Elf has helped a lot with this!). So this past week they decided that yes they will sit on his lap, and tell Santa what they want.

Our practice session went a bit like this:

Mom & Dad: "Lola what are you going to ask Santa for?"
Lola: "A big, blue car, like Aiden's"

Mom & Dad: "Ellie what are you going to ask Santa for?"
Ellie: "Skittles"

An that is exactly what they asked him for when they saw him today! Though while we waited in line (for much too long, if I might add) both Ellie and Lola were patiently waiting with elevating anticipation. Both girls wore permanent smiles on their face while waiting in line. When it was our turn, Lola walked up to Santa and slowly got on his lap. Ellie walked back towards me and started holding on tighter and tighter... I knew as I felt her squeeze my leg that this was not going to be the year for Ellie- not yet. Yep, you guessed it- She lost it- and cried the entire time. You gotta love that girl though, through the tears, fear, and sobs, she managed to scream "I want Skittles"

These moments are simply Priceless!!!

To make the event even more fun we went with Aiden and Liam
Here we all are in our family shot with Santa!
We have all calmed down a bit by now.
