Open House!

The girls absolutely love visiting mom's work. They don't get there too often but when they do they have a blast. At this age they love school, go figure! It was Open House night last week, and the girls couldn't wait to go and play with everything. It's amazing how mom's work is just one big playground for them.

Below: A little glimpse into my future (not to far off future), when I pop out of my classroom and see my little ones getting a drink after recess. I love the Lola and Ellie will be able to go to school where I work. After they finished their drink, Ellie says, "Mom, it's just my size."
What good little students... so focused...and creative!
Ellie!
Lola!

The girl's even got a chance to play at mommy's desk and use her computer.  Aiden taught them how to play some school games on his classroom computer and these little ladies even figured out how to use the huge Smart Board in mom's classroom.  Their on the road to becoming tech savvy... good thing because I am slowing down, I will need them to teach me a few things.
I have had the pleasure of having my nephew at school with me everyday. He was in our school's pre-kindergarten class. It has been so nice to see him grow as a learner and as a student. Most of all it was always so nice to see his face light up - when I would work in his classroom or see him passing me in the halls. Half of his class refered to me as "Auntie Stacie" and I loved it! I love that little guy and will miss him when he goes to his home school next year.
Here is Aiden showing off his desk!
He was also very excited to show off his art work that was displayed in the halls.
I love being able to work at a school that has such a great since of community where I feel comfortable to send my family!
