i could probably write a book about tradition and how important it is to us, but instead i thought i would write more of a list of things we do each year as a part of our Christmas traditions. some traditions we have carried with us from our childhood and others we have created since we've been married.
one...we give only 3 gifts to each other, based on what the wise men brought Jesus.
two...we read the Christmas story from the gospel of Luke.
three...we throw an annual "Happy Birthday, Jesus Party."
four...we drive around and look at Christmas lights.
five...we do an advent countdown to Christmas. each year it's different and involves lots of different activities.
six...we go to Christmas eve candle light service at our church.
seven...watch our favorite Christmas movies.
eight...we have a day devoted to baking cookies.
nine....we participate in Operation Christmas Child.
ten...we spend lots of time making crafts.
