Sunny days, bats and buzzing

We've been enjoying good weather this week.

 Spending time together outdoors



Dancing
 Playing

 Gazing at birds
 Stopping to smell the flowers
 Looking at frog spawn




 Checking the fairy letter box





 But something is driving us indoors.....


Anyone got any good eco friendly mosquito be gone suggestions? 
They're just rife this time of year, and I find little to like in these blood sucking varmints, except perhaps that they make great bat food !

 You can hear the White Striped Bat Tadarida australis calling around our house of an evening as the weather gets warmer. It's ting ting sound is the noise it makes as it is echolocating it's food. Climate Watch are asking people to record it's presence or absence as a way of monitoring if it is affected by climate change. They are monitoring other species as well, read more here:
